YFU Finland was founded in 1958. Since then, it has sent over 15500 Finnish students abroad and received nearly 5500 foreign YFU students. It is a non-profit organization and the office is located in the capital of Helsinki. Every year 70-100 young people between 15-17 are going abroad as exchange students and appr. 40-50 foreign exchange students are coming to Finland with YFU. YFU Finland offers mostly year and semester exchanges to all 5 continents all together to more than 40 countries.
